In this workshop you will learn to sew your own lingerie set. You will sew a bralette and a pair of panties (3 models to choose). We offer differnt fabrics and trim options so you can make them on your style.
What will you learn on the workshop?
Introduction to lingerie making, materials and stretch measurement.
You will choose the panties style (3 different patterns) and there are 3 bralettes patterns, depending on your bra cup. Some provides more support than others. Then you will learn how to take your measurements to choose the size on the pattern.
You will learn the construction techniques for each piece and how to sew the different elastics, make bra straps and add a closure.
In this workshop you will not only learn and make your own lingerie set, but will help you improve your sewing technique!
What do you need for the workshop?
- Basic sewing machine knowledge. If you have never used one you can take an extra class of introduction to the sewing machine and basic stitches.Contact me about it.
- All materials are included, you will have a selection of different fabrics to match your style.
- There is a sewing machine available per student. But you can also bring your own.
- Please bring all your sewing tools (pins, scissors, cutter). If you don't have we have them in the studio.
